The mobility of positive ions in water vapour was constant over the measured range E/p = 50-90 v cm-1 torr-1 and is 0.61 103 cm2 v-1 sec-1 (at 20 °C and 1 torr). The value of mobility in humid air is lower than the value measured using Blanc’s law. This indicates ion clustering.
