Emily Greene Wetherbee was an American poet, author, and educator who lived from January 6, 1839 to August 28, 1897. The Emily G. Wetherbee School, an elementary/middle school in Lawrence, Massachusetts, is named after her.
In 1839, Wetherbee was born in Milford, New Hampshire.
She was the youngest of Isaac and Sophia (née Greeneeight )’s children.
She grew up in the Bunker Hill neighborhood of Charlestown, Massachusetts. She moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts, when she was twelve years old, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1856. With the exception of a few years spent working in Boston public schools, she spent the majority of her time in Lawrence. [two]
Lawrence’s literary and social lives were inextricably linked to Wetherbee. She was included in Boston’s “Journal,” “Transcript,” and “Globe,” as well as the New England “Journal of Education,” “The American Institute of Instruction,” “Good Housekeeping,” and “The Lawrence American.” Under the pen name “Maria Green,” she published comedic works. 1st

The Wetherbee School is a fantastic institution. My son has been going there since kindergarten, and the staff has always been wonderful. They also assisted my child in transitioning from a disruptive, violent child to one of the most supportive students in the school. My son was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago, and the Wetherbee teachers spent extra time devising a unique strategy to meet his needs. I expressed my gratitude to each and every one of them for their assistance and encouragement.
Overall, the Wetherbee School has been a fantastic institution. Both of my older boys attended, and I had the impression that the teachers were concerned about their students’ education. Now I have my youngest child, and the assistance he receives with his educational plan is outstanding. National Center for Education Statistics, Pitney Bowes, and GreatSchools provided school results. Just to be used as a guide. The GreatSchools Rating is based on a number of metrics of school quality, such as test scores, college readiness, and equity data. Contact the school or district directly to confirm enrollment eligibility.

Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is influenced by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

These courses were designed to be on par with other first-year university courses. If the students succeed in the AP programs, they may be eligible for advanced placement, credit, or exemptions when they enter university.
The number of students who scored at or above the proficiency level on their standardized state achievement tests are shown in the tables of math and language proficiency. Despite the fact that these measures are standardized for each state, they can differ from one state to the next. Comparing the outcomes of one state to that of another isn’t always a fair or reliable comparison.
