The policies listed below can change as the campus finalizes its reopening plans and new health information becomes available during the summer and/or fall semesters. For any updates, please visit our website or follow us on social media.
Freshmen and sophomore commuter students can park in Riverside Lot A, Riverside Lot B, and North Garage Floors 1-2 on North Campus; Broadway/Riverview and South Garage on South Campus; and East Garage and Perkins Lot on East Campus for the Fall 2020 semester with valid decals.
Residents have access to parking near their residence halls; however, University Apartments and ICC residents must buy a decal.
Residents of East Campus may park in the East Garage, Fox Lot, and Perkins Lot; and residents of South Campus may park in the Broadway / Riverview and South Garage.
On East Campus, River Hawk Village residents may park in the Hall Street Garage, Lawrence Drive Lot, and Perkins Lot; on South Campus, they may park in the Broadway / Riverview and South Garage.
On North Campus, residents may park in Riverside Lot A, Riverside Lot B, and North Garage Floors 1-2; on South Campus, residents may park in Broadway / Riverview and South Garage; and on East Campus, residents may park in East Garage and Perkins Lot.
Lower Locks Garage floors 1-2; Riverside Lot A, Riverside Lot B, and North Garage Floors 1-2 on North Campus; Broadway/Riverview and South Garage on South Campus; and East Garage and Perkins Lot on East Campus are all available to ICC resident students.
Both students are welcome to park in the commuter surface lots on both the North and South campuses after 3 p.m.

Only conference attendees are permitted to park in the surface lot in front of the ICC. Parking in this area could result in a ticket and towing at the expense of the driver.

Please keep in mind: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., parking meters on Perkins Street are enforced. After 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends, the Perkins Street meters change to City of Lowell Resident parking (with City of Lowell parking permit**). Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, Riverwalk Way, the small road that leads to the Perkins Lot, is curbside City of Lowell Residents parking (with City of Lowell Resident permit**). Parking decals from UMass Lowell are not considered City of Lowell permits.

The Fletcher Street Lot, the Salem Street Lot, and the Pawtucket Street public parking metered lot, as well as metered parking along Fr. Morrissette Blvd., serve University Crossing.

Parking for visitors is located across the street from Admissions. There is also public transportation available.
Lot on Fletcher Street
During business hours, this parking lot on Whiting Street through Fletcher Street is reserved for faculty and staff. Students with valid decals are permitted to park in the lot on weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays. If the Fletcher Street Lot is full and there is no usable parking, the university has reached an agreement with the City of Lowell to allow students, staff, and assigned vendors with valid faculty, staff, or vendor hangtags to park at the Father Morissette Blvd. parking meters Monday through Friday until 7:30 p.m. Between the Northern Canal Bridge (Father Morissette and Pawtucket) and the Tsongas Center, vehicles with the required UMass Lowell decal will park at a Father Morissette meter.

Any faculty or staff member whose job requires them to drive a personal vehicle across campus for service-related functions can apply for a Service Vehicle permit, which allows them to park in a Service Vehicle space*. Any faculty or staff member who moves between campuses is not eligible for this. * Faculty and workers with a valid Service Vehicle permit will be restricted to 60 minutes in a Service Vehicle room starting in Fall 2015.
