Bert’s life embodied servant leadership and volunteerism, as he worked diligently for the fulfillment of being of value to his community and the restorative justice movement. Mr. Thompson was a role model, mentor, and motivator who encouraged people to become more involved in their communities. His job entailed bringing people together and using cultural and restorative justice values and strategies to assist others.
