Fungal infection causes in hindi (फंगल

Itching, rashes, and other unpleasant symptoms are common symptoms of fungal infections. “We see them more frequently in the summer because people sweat more and are in hot, humid conditions that encourage fungi growth,” says Marie Jhin, M.D., a dermatologist in the San Francisco area and a spokeswoman for the American Academy of Dermatology.
What it entails:
Tinea versicolor is a skin infection caused by an overgrowth of naturally occurring yeast. “We all have a little bit of this fungus on our bodies already,” Jhin says, “but in the summer, when it’s hot and humid, it may get out of hand.” People who sweat a lot or have oily skin are more prone to this noncontagious infection, which affects up to 50% of people living in tropical countries.
Wear loose, light clothing made of breathable fabrics like linen or cotton to avoid sweating, according to Jhin. If you’re susceptible to recurrent infections, UpToDate recommends applying an over-the-counter antifungal shampoo containing selenium sulfide (Selsun and generic) or ketoconazole (Nizoral and generic) to your entire body for 10 minutes once a month to avoid recurrence.

Guinea pig ringworm identification and home treatment

Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm are all treated with tolnaftate topical (for the skin) (tinea corporis). Tolnaftate is also used in the treatment of diseases of the nails, hair, palms, and soles of the feet when combined with other antifungals.
Do not take this medication by mouth. Tolnaftate topical is only for external use. This medication should not be used on open wounds, sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin. Rinse with water if this medication gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, rectum, or vaginal region.
A tolnaftate topical overdose is unlikely to be dangerous. If someone has mistakenly swallowed the drug, seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Support line at 1-800-222-1222.
Other drugs you take orally or inject are unlikely to interact with tolnaftate when applied topically. Many medications, however, may interfere with one another. All drugs you use, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal products, should be reported to each of your health care providers.
