Rizal’s annotation in morga’s chapter 8

This was a fantastic book for me. I’m not an artist, and I never did much with it as a child, but my travels as an adult have taught me to appreciate art. I’ve wanted to learn more about art for a long time—a little history, a little interconnectedness, a little about main themes, and so on. For all of that, this book was ideal. There was just enough information to be useful and interesting without being overwhelming. It was easy to look up an artist or a piece of art in the book when I was curious.
This book’s subtitle reads, “A Crash Course in Art History from Prehistoric to Post-Modern.”
This is a lighthearted, easy-to-read book that explores a broad range of art across history. Although it is a natural choice for art enthusiasts, it is also a good choice for aspiring artists who want to learn and appreciate technique, style, and other factors. NotesAn excellent substitute for dry college textbooks. Low Learning Curve: Excellent for new readers.
