Years ago, as a young, inquisitive student, I would have told you that a great teacher was someone who kept the class entertained and assigned very little homework. Needless to say, my viewpoint has shifted after several years of K-12 management experience and hundreds of teacher assessments. My current position as a professor in higher education helps me to share what I’ve learned with current and future school leaders, as well as spark lively debates among my graduate students about what it takes to be a great teacher.
Teaching is a difficult profession, and some teachers never rise above mediocrity. They just do the bare minimum and nothing more. Great instructors, on the other hand, work diligently to provide their students with a demanding and supportive atmosphere. Great teaching seems to be more about our attitude toward our students, our subject, and our work than it is about our knowledge and skills. While this list is by no means comprehensive, I have narrowed down the many attributes that make a great teacher to the ones that I believe are the most significant, regardless of the learner’s age:

A individual must undergo additional schooling and testing in order to receive the requisite qualifications to teach. It also helps if they have a knack for keeping their cool when dealing with other people’s children!
You probably know an educator somewhere, whether it’s your child’s favorite teacher or a friend who works at the school down the street. Say anything like this the next time you see them to brighten their day:
2. We value your contribution. Teachers do not just guide students. They assist children in planning for their future lives. By showing appreciation for the effort, you are reminding an instructor that their presence continues beyond the classroom.
4. The efforts are not in vain. Teachers sacrifice time with their families and friends to grade papers, plan lessons, and attend conferences. Tell them how much you appreciate their extra effort. The compliment would undoubtedly mean a great deal to them.
Recognize it. You still rolled your eyes at the one teacher who “nagged” you to do better back in the day. But now you see the bigger picture of what they were trying to show you. Look up one of your former teachers and tell them how they shaped your life. Here are some examples of what you might say:

We have nothing without schooling. Great teachers assist us in gaining insight and demonstrate how to see and view the world with wisdom through example. We want to emphasize the job that teachers do. It’s a joy to be able to celebrate all teachers on National Teachers Appreciation Day, May 8th, and to give away a winning smile to a very special one.
“But what if I don’t need braces?” you may wonder. We’ve got your back. The award is TRANSFERABLE, which means that if you don’t want to use it, you can give it to someone else (like a spouse, child, or family member).

A instructor is someone who assists others in learning. A instructor is often found in a classroom. Teachers come in a variety of shapes and sizes. In kindergarten or primary schools, some teachers work with small children. Others work with older students in middle schools, junior high schools, and high schools. Adults are taught by some teachers in more specialized classes (for example, colleges and universities). Some are referred to as professors.
There are various methods of instruction. The majority of teachers use a number of teaching techniques. Teachers often illustrate new information, write on a blackboard or whiteboard, sit in chairs behind their desks, assist students with their assignments, or grade students’ work. They can use a computer to create class assessments, assignments, and report cards.
