Statesman Travel Group was acquired by Travel and Transport Inc. on May 11th, 2017. This global merger focuses on both businesses continuing to provide excellent customer support and aims to provide exciting opportunities and prospects for clients and all Statesman Travel Group employees.
Omaha, Nebraska (US) and London, United Kingdom (UK) – May 11, 2017 – Travel and Transport revealed today that they have completed an all-cash acquisition of 100% of the London-based Statesman Travel Group. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The merged businesses would have over 1,600 employees and $3.5 billion in annual revenues as a result of this merger.
Statesman Travel Group, based in the City of London, focuses on saving money, providing excellent service, and keeping things simple. By taking a personalized approach to travel and incorporating enthusiasm and drive into every interaction, the business has tripled in size in just three years.
This is a strategic global acquisition for Travel and Transport of a highly profitable and valued UK-based travel management business that focuses on professional services firms and other sectors that need a high level of service.
