For the past few years, the UFCW has given its participants and their families a free college program. The UFCW Free College Benefit eliminates the need for UFCW participants and their families to pay for tuition, fees, or e-books out of pocket.
The program began as a two-year associate degree program through Eastern Gateway Community College, and it has since grown to include a full four-year bachelor’s degree program through Central State University, enabling students to receive their degrees there.
