Dear Parishioner of St. Michael’s, Even though there will be restrictions, I am very excited to resume offering public Mass. You are not obligated to come because the dispensation from the Sunday requirement to attend Mass is still in place. Please just come if you are at ease doing so. I’ll continue to live-stream Masses from St. John’s and have drive-up Communion at all three parishes. The following is the weekend Mass schedule: Today is Saturday. St. Michael’s Mass is at 4:00 p.m., followed by a 5:00 p.m. drive -At St. Michael’s, up Communion 6:00 p.m. Mass at St. John’s 7:00 p.m. Drive -At St. John’s, up Communion 8:00 a.m. Mass at St. John’s 9:00 a.m. Drive -At St. John’s, up Communion Both Saints’ Church, 10:00 a.m. Both Saints Drive-Up Communion at 11:00 a.m. I urge parishioners who want to attend Mass to do so at the parish where they are currently registered in order to help us adhere to safe-distance requirements that restrict attendance to 25% of the worship room in each church. Make sure you enter through the main entrance when you arrive. For more details, please see the attached brochure. Thank you for your patience as we go through this process. Returning to Mass Brochure for Parishioners Please contact Cathy Schirz at 217-370-9062 or [email protected] if you have any questions. During this difficult time, I appreciate your prayers, patience, and understanding! Love and prayers, Pastor Maridas ChatlaFather Maridas Chatla

Registration & Tuition St. Michael School is a Catholic parish school. St. Michael Parish insists that all families should have the choice of sending their children to Catholic school. As a result of these convictions, parish and school leadership, the St. Michael School Advisory Board, and the Parish Finance Council work to keep tuition at a level that allows for educational choice.
New families must register their children at the school office in person. The incoming student’s original Birth Certificate and Baptismal Certificate, as well as a Registration Form/Fee, are required.
Under the tuition/registration payment page, returning families, including those with a new student, can register and pay the registration fee online. For all NEW students, however, a Registration Form, as well as an original Birth Certificate and Baptismal Certificate, is required.
Your student(s) will only be registered if your tuition account for the next school year is current. If your tuition payments are past due, your registration will be denied, and your registration fee will be returned. Your student(s) will not be registered until you pay the whole registration fee at the time of registration. Furthermore, if you fall behind on your tuition payments over the year, either in terms of frequency or total amount owed, you might be allowed to pay tuition for the following year in full or in part. Unless the registration fee and any additional tuition, if any, are charged, no space will be reserved for your student(s).

My two sons visited St Michael. They had a fantastic faith-based education. In order to do well academically in high school and college, they learned excellent study skills and time management/prioritization skills.
St. Michael’s is a wonderful institution. My kids are receiving a fantastic Catholic education. To the other reviewer, those teachers shouldn’t be criticized based on their attire because they don’t make a lot of money. I often visit the school and have never heard a teacher scream “There are a lot of “”clicks”” at St. Michael’s, and concerns are swept under the table because no one wants to “”resolve”” important issues. I would not recommend this school to those seeking a loving, caring environment. Except for Mrs. Green, the teachers are cold, scream at the kids, dress like they’ve just rolled out of bed, and play favorites. Having said that, your child will learn (despite the circumstances).”

Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please bear in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always mean a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is determined by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.
