Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is influenced by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

St. John the Baptist School is like a second home for me. Teachers and staff are just as compassionate and nurturing as the parents. Through their everyday lessons, our children are motivated and nurtured. I can sense the school’s motto alive and well as soon as I step through the gates… We’re all connected.
The education, treatment, compassion, encouragement, and guidance that the students receive at SJB is completely incredible. My daughter is now enrolled in the school and enjoys it. It says a lot about a child if they enjoy their teachers and support staff and look forward to going to school every day. The education and after-school programs speak for themselves; I believe it is the only school in Ludlow that offers sewing classes; my daughter adores it and will attend the after-school program next year. The religious education and training is without a doubt the best!
Our daughters go to SJBS, and we are so impressed by how much of a difference this school makes. The educational environment they offer encourages students to perform to their full potential while remaining manageable. The after-school programs available are fantastic, ranging from Mad Science to Art…

At St. John the Baptist School, my son is in the eighth grade. He’s been there since he was in preschool. The program is outstanding since it flows effortlessly from one grade to the next. Students compose on a regular basis and are taught grammar and composition law. When students present their assignments, they do projects and practice public speaking. The principal is a committed and hardworking person. She is familiar with every student at the school. – mb123 – Parent – mb123 – Parent – mb123 – Parent – St. John The Baptist School should be endorsed.
