The oldest wooden Catholic building on the South Shore is Saint Bridget Parish, which was established in 1863. There are approximately 2,100 families living there. Saint Bridget’s caters to a diverse group of people who hold traditional family values.
The Eucharistic Celebration is at the heart of our parish life. The parish aspires to be a representation of the mystical body of Christ that it claims to be. The several parish services that enrich our parishioners’ spiritual lives show Saint Bridget’s parishioners’ devotion to one another. Among these are lively Catholic religious education services, youth ministry, sacramental training, and sick and elderly ministry. The Saint Vincent de Paul Society is a charitable organization that helps those in need.

St bridgets bulletin

“Saint Bridget School is a Catholic culture that promotes God’s grace, respect for all beings, and academic excellence.” Saint Bridget School’s goal is to uphold high educational standards and to encourage the incorporation of Gospel ideals into all areas of learning. As a result, we will be better able to form a religious group that is committed to promoting prayer, worship, and service. At Saint Bridget School, “Where Faith, Friendships, and Futures are Created,” we look forward to providing your children with the best education possible. Our trained, loving teachers provide students in Preschool through Grade 8 with a well-rounded education that includes academics, faith, social skills, and emotional development. Before and after-school services are also available at Saint Bridget School. Look no further if you want a school that will challenge your child academically while still reinforcing the principles you teach at home.
St. John The Evangelist School, South Shore Christian Academy, Cardinal Spellman High School, Derby Academy, and Notre Dame Academy were among the schools visited by visitors to St. Bridget School.

Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is determined by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

St bridget’s mass schedule

Every day, I have the privilege of watching wonderful children go through this transition and emerge more positive and assured of their own worth as individuals, thanks to the caring and guiding presence of our Pastor, Fr. Jeffrey V. Romans, parents, administration, teachers, employees, and other members of the school community.
At SBS, we provide a rich, vibrant, and holistic Catholic education that is inspired by our Patron Saint, St. Bridget of Sweden, and her life and teachings.
This is something we sell to anyone who visits, Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Above all, it is the true sense of community at St. Bridget’s, where each member makes his or her own unique contribution and where everyone shares the joys and challenges of working and growing together.
With that in mind, you are invited to take part in SBS as an active participant.
You are invited to participate whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of our Home and School Association, a School Board member, a parishioner of St. Bridget of Sweden, or a community member.
As principal, rising parent and community engagement in our school is a top priority for me in the coming year.
Educational evidence suggests that when parents and community members are more interested in a child’s education, the child’s chances of academic success skyrocket.
