Stitch by stitch: nepal earthquake survivors take

We’ve been at St Anna’s for two years (Pre-K and Kindergarten) and have had a fantastic time. Our son has acquired a great deal of knowledge and developed lifelong friendships. The school is small enough that all of the parents know each other, but big enough that the children can have different groups of friends, be exposed to different cultures, and participate in after-school activities. Our son picked up reading, writing, and basic math skills easily. The intensive academics are counterbalanced by ample recess and free play time. We are very satisfied with our decision to send our son to St. Anna’s.
We’ve been at St. Anna’s for the past five years and can’t say enough positive stuff about it. We had some structural changes this year, but we are so fortunate to have Fr. Fred as our headmaster. Fr. Fred is exceptional, and the children adore him. His Wednesday mass sermons are on their stage, and you leave mass feeling like you will be a better person. My children enjoy going to school because the teachers are wonderful. Last year, we lost a few teachers due to retirement or maternity leave, but we gained some fantastic new ones who the kids adore. I can’t tell enough about the families and friends we’ve made as parents. It is, without a doubt, a family school. The extracurricular activities available are what set this school apart. They have sports teams, incredible STEM programs, iPads in the middle school, a drama club, and so on. As a family, we value the spiritual base that our children receive. If you are looking for a wonderful family and faith-centered community with good academics and all of the extras, I would highly recommend this school!!!

St. anna parish

We are committed to keeping Catholic education accessible through the spiritual and financial support of St. Anna Parish. The Worcester Diocesan tuition assistance program is available for students in grades K through 8. St. Anna is an option for families with two or more children because of our family tuition package.
Lunch is included in the tuition for the 2012-2013 academic year. Completed applications must be accompanied by a $100 processing fee per student ($200 per student after March 1st). Additional fundraising activities will be scheduled throughout the year, and families are encouraged to participate as fully as possible despite the fact that they are not included in the tuition payment.
In addition to program tuition, the PreK program has a non-refundable $100 application fee ($200 after March 1st). Lunch is included in the tuition for the Full Day and Extended Care Plans. Throughout the year, we host special events, and weekly Specials classes are offered. These events/classes will only be held on students’ regularly scheduled days.

Montachusett Home Care funded “Socks for Santa” for the seventh year as a way to give back this holiday season. For many elderly people on a fixed income, buying fresh socks is the last thing on their minds. They are more concerned with paying their monthly expenses, seeking to support their families, or saving a small sum of money in order to purchase Christmas presents for their grandchildren. They assume that no one will notice their feet, so new socks are unimportant.
It is important to have new socks! Socks assist in the promotion of safe feet and good wellbeing. Socks can help people with diabetes, arthritis, circulation issues, or nerve damage maintain their balance, reduce their risk of falling, and keep their feet in better shape.
