Act of kindness: sneaky classmate leaves positive

Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is influenced by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

Saint Agatha School educates children in kindergarten through eighth grade in the gospel. English, math, science, computers, history, geography, and physical education are among the subjects covered. Extended-day care and after-school services are available at the school. Fairs, field days, tournaments, and fundraiser activities are all organized by Saint Agatha School. Painting, carpentry, and other skills are also taught at the academy.
If your public school lacks equipment or teacher skills, this is a perfect option. Why waste money on a school where seasoned teachers are leaving and younger ones are looking for higher paying jobs and the opportunity to work with a principal who views education as a team effort if you come from a great school system? This is exactly what is happening at this school. The two teachers in the resource room have no experience understanding or coping with learning disabilities. The afterschool program is costly, and it is held in an old basement room of the school.
The teachers are wonderful, hardworking, and enthusiastic about their jobs. Great for younger grades, but there are no electives in the middle school, such as Chorus, Honors Art, or Band, and only one language is offered. There are no advanced courses available, and bright students become bored. Teachers must deal with disciplinary problems on a regular basis. The afterschool program is fine; but, if the gym is being used for Bingo or basketball, there is no time for exercise. The staff is friendly and accommodating to the children. Pros+ Excellent morals and values education. Cons: Middle school offerings are limited.
