Over the course of a 24-month period, the Southwick Regional School Project included both renovations and additions to an occupied school. The current 100,000-square-foot structure was extended with the addition of two 60,000-square-foot academic wings and a 5,000-square-foot auxiliary gymnasium.
Total upgrades of the media center, 540-seat auditorium, 30 classrooms, locker rooms, and cafeteria are among the highlights of the renovation process. All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including high-efficiency or waterless plumbing fixtures, new HVAC units, lighting, security, and a completely new fire suppression system, were modernized and brought up to code.

Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is influenced by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.
