Garden Classrooms is a type of program. Primary School, Middle School, and Upper Elementary are the grade levels and age classes. Total Number of People 500 people are served by this program. The year the company was formed was 2015. Description of the Program: The school garden’s mission is to involve students by creating a dynamic atmosphere in which they can observe, explore, experiment, cultivate, and learn through hands-on experience and direct connections to classroom curriculum. Our aim is to convert our courtyard into a garden that will serve as a living laboratory for interdisciplinary lessons based on real-life experiences, while also enabling students to engage actively in the learning process. The South Shore Educational Collaborative is made up of four programs, and this garden would be a perfect way for them to work together. We want to create a garden where students can get hands-on experience from start to finish. Our students will benefit greatly from this garden as they learn the difference between “natural food” and “processed food.”
