Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please bear in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always mean a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is determined by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included in the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

The South School is a historic school building in Stoneham, Massachusetts, located at 9-11 Gerry Street. It is Stoneham’s best-preserved 19th-century schoolhouse. The two-story wood-frame structure, which had two classrooms on each of its two floors, was constructed between 1857 and 1858, when most schoolhouses in the state were single-story structures with one or two classrooms. Before being adapted to other uses, the building was used for academic purposes well into the twentieth century. Its basic shape, as well as exterior Italianate elements, have been preserved.

High 5: stoneham football team is talk of the town

Last year, I gave this school a bad review, which I am now retracting. Mrs. Bird, the principal, is amazing and truly cares for the students. Almost every morning, she welcomes them all outside. Nice school with a compassionate faculty.
I don’t understand why the office aide is permitted to gossip about the students and their families!! I’ve signed in to help out in my daughter’s classroom many too many times and overheard Mrs. Davis discussing personal matters with the secretary. What happened to the privacy policy? I’m counting down the days before my child’s period here is over. This school’s team has left me very disappointed. National Center for Education Statistics, Pitney Bowes, and GreatSchools provided school results. Just to be used as a guide. The GreatSchools Rating is based on a number of metrics of school quality, such as test scores, college readiness, and equity data.
