Sims 3 no school

The sims 4 | mod overview | go to school pack.

During their formative years, children and adolescents attend school to obtain an education. Except for The Sims Castaway Stories, school appears in all of The Sims episodes. The school bus transports students to and from school. Like jobs, the school in the first two games and The Sims 4 is off-screen and not available to the player. The school in The Sims 3 is a rabbit hole structure.
Since there are no weekends in The Sims, children attend school every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They can, however, miss a day by failing to catch the school bus, though this normally necessitates player interference. If a kid misses the school bus, he or she will fall behind a complete grade level. Because the bus will not come for them until the next day, a baby who becomes a child after 8 a.m. will not be penalized for missing school.
Children may increase their grades by learning from books or using a computer, but they are not given homework. Since children do not mature, the only reward for good grades is a 100 Simoleon gift from their relatives. (When a hacking program is used to examine the bookshelf, it is discovered that the existence of the bookshelf is what activates the reward.)

How to: homeschool your sims in the sims 3 [no mods

Nikita decides that Felicia Day should be sent to boarding school because Felix is nearly a teenager and Disco is committed to “lifting” KF Fighting. You can make this choice as early as when the child is in the Child life stage, but you can still do so when they are teenagers. Toddlers are excluded since they are too young to attend any school, let alone a private school.
Similar to Childhood After-school Activities, the key advantage of enrolling a child in a boarding school is that your child can learn work skills depending on which school you select. You can give a child a big boost by having them in if you have a clear plan for them. You won’t have to juggle their lives with your other Sims’, either.
The trade-off is that your Sim will have a chance to develop characteristics that are close to those of the school, so you’ll lose some influence over how the child is raised. It’s not irreversible; if your child develops a lot of characteristics you don’t want, you can still purchase the Mid-Life Crisis lifetime incentive and manually reset them. Of course, since the traits appear to prefer the same occupations and careers as the work skills, the traits may be just what you’re looking for. The costs and characteristics associated with each school are listed in a table at the bottom of this page.

So, in my current town, I’ve decided to delete the school(s). It’s a complete waste of my Sims’ time, in my opinion. They don’t learn any skills, are still tired, and it’s just a pain. Instead I am converting the Library in a ‘Learning Center’ – entire first floor with easels for painting skill, computers for writing skill, chess tables, etc… A hopscotch court and other games are set up in the garden for my Sim to play with and make friends. Mum drops off and picks up the child before and after work. What are your views on the benefits and drawbacks of making your offspring attend school? Go to school! | the sims 4: mod overview

Previously, I made the school “careers” “quittable,” which allowed you to quit/join them via the “work” app, but it also meant that you had to choose between extracurricular activities and school.
They are no longer officially “quittable” as a result of what I’ve done. Instead, you use a kind of cheat to get around their inability to quit and quit anyway. As a result, you can still leave while still attending school and engaging in extracurricular activities! As a result, Join/Leave is now done through two new experiences, Join School and Quit School, which appear under Career in phone interactions.
Auto-enrollment is essentially disabled by the scripted portion of the mod. Sims will never be enrolled in school unless you enroll them yourself, whether you reload, travel, or age up from Toddler to Child or Child to Teen.
