M. Frank Silvia School is a fantastic institution. All of the teachers and staff are committed to the children. My two children attend Silvia Kindergarten, and we have had a wonderful experience so far!! Although the parent patrol can be hectic, they are working to develop the system to meet our needs.
For the past three years, my daughter has been a student at this school. I enjoy working with the team and can see my daughter’s progress over time. The teachers are very interested with my daughter’s education and continue to keep me informed if she encounters any changes. The school is lovely, and the staff is equally so. This is a school that I will continue to recommend to everyone.

Different methods have been tried in schools around the country to make students feel secure and a part of their community. Silvia Elementary School now has the opportunity to pursue a good project on their own playground thanks to Diman’s Metal Fabrication and Joining Technology students.
Silvia now has their own “Buddy Bench” to introduce at the start of the next school year thanks to the collaboration of these two Fall River institutions. The “Buddy Bench” is a recess technique that encourages all students to participate. Students are reminded to keep an eye on the bench when playing at recess. If a student feels lonely, rejected, or just wants to make new friends, they should sit on the Buddy Bench. Students are mindful of the reasons that someone may be sitting in that spot during recess and may make an effort to involve the student in whatever activity they are doing.
At recess, students at Silvia Elementary School use their interpersonal communication skills to foster inclusion and friendship by using the Buddy Bench. Diman Regional High School has created an outstanding bench that will continue to uphold these ideals at Silvia Elementary School for many years!

A worrying indication is that, as compared to comparable students in the state, students at this school are making less academic progress. Parental advice Giving all students a voice and a choice is one of the most important ways that the best schools help them learn.
It’s worth taking a closer look at: This school’s test results are around the same as the state average, but they are far behind the state’s top-performing colleges. Many students at this school may not be performing at grade level due to low test scores in some states. Parental advice Inquire about the school’s efforts to assist students who are falling behind. Understand what on-track learning means, and inquire about what the school is doing to help students make faster progress.
A worrying sign: Poor students at this school may be slipping behind their peers in the state, and there may be major achievement gaps at this school. Does this school have opportunities for all of its pupils, or does it exclude some? Schools that are effective know how to close the achievement gap.
