According to the Gloucester Daily Times, 7 Central in Manchester-by-the-Sea will close at the end of the year due to the retirement of owner Paul Barclay. The article mentions that an Antique Table location will open in the space, and that employees from 7 Central will have the option of working there—as well as working at other Antique Table locations in Lynn, Winthrop, and Salem while renovations are underway. If all goes according to plan, the new Antique Table location should open between the middle of January and the end of February.
According to 7 Central’s website, the establishment first opened nearly four decades ago in a building that had previously served as a pub, stage coach stop, and post office for more than 250 years. The Landing Group, which owns The Landing in Marblehead, handed over the dining and drinking place to Barclay about four years ago.
7 Central Street, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944 is the address for 7 Central (and the upcoming Antique Table). 7 Central’s website is located at http://7central.net/, while Antique Table’s is located at http://antiquetablerestaurants.com/.

This Manchester landmark, prominently located on the Harbor’s edge in the heart of town, welcomes tourists from both land and sea! 52 Some well-known, historic Manchester families had their homes in Central, and their names are still remembered. It was once known as a “townhouse,” but it morphed into a two-family home, as shown by the two side porches, and it still has that status, bringing in consistent revenue. The home has a McIntyre (or McIntyre style) fireplace, porthole window, gazebo, stone walls, and a koi pond, in addition to its location and historical significance. The rooms are big, and the kitchen, sun room, and master bedroom all have views of the harbor. The kitchen has been renovated with wood cabinetry, stone counter tops, and sliding glass doors, and all of the rooms are spacious with plenty of closet space. A sunroom, dining room, living room, front foyer & 2 mud room exits, laundry, and 1/2 bath are all located on the first floor.

Chef asked for suggestions for a name for his latest creation, which he described as a deviled egg that isn’t really a deviled egg, a few weeks ago. I insisted on samples, which he gladly provided. Please bear with me. He brought a platter of lightly fried eggs with an avocado-based cream in place of the yolk. It came with a pinch of Canadian bacon, arugula and tomato spits, and a sliver of pickled red onion on top. We at the bar exclaimed, “Heavenly chickens.” It’s an angel, not a demon.
And everybody always thinks highly of Tom Brady.

Thank you so much for another fantastic review, Karen. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the latest appetizers. We can’t wait for you to try our latest menu additions, which will be available soon! It’s really a pleasure to see you. We’ll talk again soon!
The pub…has TVs everywhere, making it easy to keep track of games and scores. The Patriots’ stumbling and rebuilding squad has elicited collective groans. Don’t worry if you’re an outlander coming from afar. We’ll get over it in time.

The food and atmosphere at 7 Central are fantastic. However, we have never had a worse experience with customer service. When we asked for different tests, she was very rude. She also admitted that she felt it was difficult and that she didn’t want to do it. It was heinous. I know how difficult it is to work as a waitress. Being openly rude to customers, on the other hand, is not appropriate. Find a new job. + Continue reading Doug67DvipReport New England is located in the United States. 4 user feedback

I’ve eaten at 7 Central many times and have really enjoyed myself. Excellent food and service. This was my most recent visit, which was for Sunday brunch. The food was merely adequate. There wasn’t much of an option, and it should have been colder. I’m not sure I’ll return for Sunday brunch unless they make any significant changes. However, I will continue to return for dinner and entertainment because it has always been excellent. The staff is always friendly and productive, and dinner is always a pleasant experience. If the management reads this study, they should consider changing the Sunday brunch to individual products rather than a buffet. Alternatively, up the ante on brunch with more options and warmer fare. We were one of the first groups to arrive for brunch at 11:30 a.m., but the food was just warm. + Continue readingReportETElizabethT Examination of New England 1
