The Nutcracker and Clara fly across the Land of Snow to the Kingdom of Sweets after beating the Mouse King, where the Sugar Plum Fairy treats them to an incredible show of dances from around the world. Clara thinks she was dreaming when she returns home, but she doesn’t remember Drosselmeyer’s nephew.

The Royal Ballet’s rendition of The Nutcracker is a highlight of the festive season, as ballet fans will know all too well, highlighting the illustrious Company’s talents with all the pomp and circumstance befitting the festive era. Of course, this year has been unlike any other. Unfortunately, since London is now in Tier 3, live performances of the iconic ballet at The Royal Opera House have been canceled. The show-stopping production will be streamed over video instead, enabling ballet fans to experience a dose of Christmas magic from the comfort of their own homes.
‘With our live shows all sold out, it’s very special that we can share The Nutcracker Reworked, a 2020 restaging of Peter Wright’s beloved production for audiences around the world who can’t join us in the theatre,’ said Kevin O’Hare, Director of The Royal Ballet.
