Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is determined by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

A concerning indication is that, as compared to comparable students in the state, students at this school are making less academic progress. Low progress combined with low test scores means that students begin at a disadvantage and eventually slip further behind their peers.
This school’s test scores are below the state average, which is concerning. This means that the majority of students at this school are possibly not performing at grade level. Parental advice Inquire about the school’s efforts to assist students who are falling behind. To find the best opportunities for your child to excel, learn what on-track learning looks like… More and look at higher-performing schools in your state.
Very concerning: Disadvantaged students at this school may be lagging behind their peers in the state, and there may be significant achievement gaps at this school. Does this school have opportunities for all of its pupils, or does it exclude some? Schools that are competitive know how to close the achievement gap.

Randolph high school graduation (1984) – randolph, ma

In my opinion, this school deserves an 8 out of 10 rating. As compared to other schools, the REAL Randolph High School wants you to work hard and excel by providing you with all of the resources you’ll need to succeed in life. You can not find a better sense of community than at RHS and in Randolph. The emphasis is on the student’s future and education from teachers to students.
The school has improved dramatically since Mr. Allen was hired; the previous principal did little and left it to Mr. Connetta, who abuses his power to harass students simply because he has the authority to make decisions that the principal should have made about the school’s policies and rules as well as students. He has a few people he likes, and the rest of the world feels his wrath. There have been parents who have regularly disagreed with him and lodged lawsuits against him, as well as children who have been transferred from this school as a result of his conduct and the nonsensical rules he has enforced. For being late to class, kids were being suspended from school for a day or two, which is insane. He exploits his position and I’m not sure why he’s still there. Mr. Allen has done a good job in his new role, and while some teachers still need to be replaced, things are looking up.
