My time at Algonquin was totally fantastic! I loved being able to openly discuss who I want to be in the future and what college I want to attend (since it is assumed that you will attend college). My liaisons were incredible in providing me with the IEP and accommodations that I needed to excel as an alum in the special education system. There, I found mentors and some of my closest friends. When it comes to emotional support and college counseling, the guidance department is extremely helpful. I can’t express how much fun I had going to Algonquin, and I return regularly because I miss it. I am an incredibly proud Tomahawk! – An alumnus is an individual who has graduated from a university (Class of 2013)
Although I did not receive a college diploma when I graduated from Algonquin in the 1970s, the education (and teachers) here allowed me to excel (especially in Silicon Valley). They instilled in us logical thinking skills, not just memorization, as I recall. Algonquin appears to still be a top-notch high school.
