The North Grafton Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is a group of parents and teachers who work at the school. Parents, teachers, principals, and staff at North Grafton Elementary and North Street Schools collaborate to create the best learning experience for the students. We are a group of learners who support and nurture academic, social, and personal growth.
We share the following values: self-esteem, respect for others, and respect for the school; a positive attitude toward learning; and a solid academic base. We hope that when our students graduate from our schools, they will be respectful, active, and responsible members of our society. The PTG has compulsory voting membership for all parents and guardians of students studying at North Grafton Elementary and North Street Elementary Schools.
Both schools’ administrators, teachers, and staff are automatically enrolled in the voting process. All is welcome. There are no subscription fees to pay per year. Your child’s school organized an evening program called Know Your School Night at the start of the school year. If you missed it or did not receive a copy of our PTG Brochure, please click here to download a copy.

I will be eternally grateful to my family for their unwavering sponsorship of my educational goals.”
The award, which was created in 1979, honors an elementary school principal who shows strong leadership in creating effective programs for children and teachers, as well as exemplary commitment to education, excellent integrity, and a selfless attitude toward helping others.
Superintendent of Schools Jay Cummings wrote, “At his heart, Steve is a wonderful teacher, leader, and citizen.” “His unfailingly optimistic attitude and desire to help others are both extraordinary and uncommon.”
