Kimberly Hamlin will pay us a virtual visit on April 7th at 7 p.m. Hamlin, the author of Free Thinker: Sex, Suffrage, and the Extraordinary Life of Helen Hamilton Gardener, a NA Reads book for 2021, will be joining us for an author visit. The Andover Public Schools Theory of Action aims to build inclusive, compassionate, and culturally sensitive classrooms and schools for students from a variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds.
With this in mind, district policy IMDC “Accommodation for Religious and Ethnic Observances” explains how to handle absences and event scheduling on days when special consideration is needed. The School Committee acknowledges that the list below does not contain all of the holidays celebrated by Andover families, but it is an effort to highlight the most important ones.

The North Andover Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization committed to preserving, recording, displaying, and interpreting North Andover history, primarily through its collection. Artifacts, historical house museums, assets for heritage and/or preservation purposes, and an archival collection of documents and visual materials; items made or used in the North Andover area from the 17th century onwards are included in this collection.
