The JaiPure YogaTM Basic Certification Teacher Training teaches the fundamentals of yoga, with an emphasis on Vinyasa and Iyengar disciplines, so that trainees can teach a vinyasa practice with precision alignment and sound sequencing. Trainees can learn how to incorporate props into all practice modalities, including the rope wall.
Trainees are supposed to create and maintain their own personal practice at home. They will also be required to attend and transcribe lessons, as well as practice teaching. Spiritual and structural theory and debate, alignment, intelligent sequencing, pranayama, meditation, and teaching practicum will all be covered during the training sessions. Loryn Riggiola and Marcie Wallace, as well as other Master Teachers, will lead the training.
Dates and Hours: Because of the current pandemic, part of the training will be simulated and part will be live. It has yet to be decided. The JaiPureTM Teacher Training will run from September 12, 2020 to the first weekend in May, 2021. Practicum lessons, which are required for the final exam, take place in June. It is required that you attend all of the sessions. Unless otherwise stated, training weekends are held on the first weekend of each month.
