Methuen High School is a public secondary school in Methuen, Massachusetts, United States of America. Methuen High School has around 1,900 students in grades nine to twelve. It is one of Methuen’s five public schools and the district’s only middle school.
The school was designed with the open classroom theory in mind. Since then, the school has undergone a $100 million renovation, and all classrooms now have walls, as do several other schools. Students will also receive iPads as part of the renovation, which they will hold for the whole year. The 1:1 iPad package is what it’s called.
The school is divided into a variety of “houses.” Math, science, business, and computer classes are held in the South wing, or South House. Classrooms for English and Foreign Languages, such as Spanish, Italian, and French, are situated in the North Building. Theater, JROTC, and physical education classes are housed in the field house.
