The Department of Campus Safety protects the college community, tourists, and guests by providing security and services. It is on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, performing protection and service functions. Callers may have to wait for answers to non-emergency requests because they are handled in order of urgency.
The mail center is a US Postal service center that provides standard services including stamp sales and parcel mailing. On the first floor of the Campus Center are student mailboxes. The mail center counter is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During and after college, the Career Development Office (CDO) is an important resource for life and work preparation. The internship and employer library, graduate and technical school library, programs and workshops on a variety of occupations and fields of study, and individual counseling are only a few of the tools and services available to students and alumnae. The key is to visit CDO as early as possible and as often as possible, both in person and online.

Facilities management is currently staffed to the bare minimum. When on campus, our top priority is to clean and sanitize toilets and high-touch areas. There will be no access to private offices or schools. Please leave trash/recycling outside the door so it can be picked up as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and support during this pandemic emergency.
Customer service is in charge of welcoming and guiding visitors to facilities management, as well as answering all phone calls, collecting and routing work orders for any maintenance problems, and dispatching any emergencies. Ordering office materials, programming pagers, and arranging vehicle requests and drivers are all responsibilities of customer service.
The building services division’s full-time custodial workforce is divided into four shifts and works in 58 buildings around campus. Starting at 5 a.m. and ending at 2 a.m., the sequence of changes begins. Staff clean and maintain academic and administrative facilities, as well as help with special activities, trucking orders, office transfers, snow clearing, special projects, and planned maintenance projects.

It is important that all mail and shipments contain the correct unit number. The time it takes for students to collect mail and parcels will be delayed if their unit numbers are incorrect. Bannerweb will help you locate your campus address.
Before the start of the summer term, you can ship supplies to campus. 1-2 weeks before the start of Term 1, Mail Services will begin accepting parcels for SSW students. You must know your full mailing addresses, including the unit number, in order to send supplies ahead of time.
