This course provides hands-on experience with fabrication and manufacturing processes. After completing the course, each student would be able to safely operate the manual and CNC machines in the store. Students who complete this course will have access to the Machine Shop to work on school-related tasks. (This is a completely free course.)
Graduate students, teachers, and faculty members are the only ones who can take the Research Training class. After completing all of the class modules, you will be able to use the bulk of the Machine Shop’s machinery and equipment. This class usually does not have enough instruction to enable students to work with machine tools without the assistance of the Machine Shop workers. This course is not designed to provide thorough safety or operational instruction on any other equipment. (This course has a cost associated with it.)
