Food and vitamins and supplements! oh my! — longwood
In Boston, a regally appointed purveyor of hand-pulled noodles is commanding a court — a food court, to be exact. Noodles King has joined the lineup of food vendors at the Longwood Galleria (400 Brookline Ave., Boston), a food court that caters to the many medical staff, patients, tourists, and the general public who frequent the hospital-filled neighborhood. The menu at Noodles King has already elicited adoration and admiration from its customers.
Noodles King was called “crazy awesome” and “probably the best noodle shop in the entire state of Massachusetts” by early reviewers, who praised the hand-pulled options. Noodles King is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and it joins a select group of Boston restaurants serving hand-pulled Chinese noodle dishes. (Gene’s Chinese Flatbread Cafe, Home Taste, and MDM Noodles are just a few examples.)
Another noodle-focused restaurant has opened elsewhere in Boston. Wen’s Yunnan Noodle & Ramen (247 Newbury St., Back Bay) has grown to 144 Tremont St., serving Yunnan rice noodle soup and four types of Japanese ramen. It has been in the works to expand to Tremont Street since earlier this year.
