Academic courses are available for students in kindergarten through fifth grade at E. Ethel Little School. It offers classes in reading, painting, music, special education, and health education. The school has a parent-teacher association that works for the benefit of the students. E. Ethel Little School also has a school development board which provides health care and guidance therapy programs. It is operated by North Reading Public Schools, which oversees a number of primary, middle, and high schools in the region. Summer enrichment and Title 1 services are administered at each of North Reading Public Schools’ schools, and students have lunch options.
