Biology is a natural science that explores how life and living things develop and work. It explores everything from the atoms that make up life to the interactions that exist between societies and populations. Many aspects of biology are based on chemistry, as chemical reactions are needed for many physical processes.
The scientific method is a set of principles for conducting science. It assists us in approaching all experimental experiments and investigations in a methodical and scientific manner in order to avoid jumping to conclusions or losing logical ties. 1) identifying the problem is one of the five stages of the scientific method. 2) observing, 3) formulating a theory, 4) carrying out an experiment, and 5) drawing conclusions
The scientific method’s fourth phase is experimentation. Experiments in science are used to test theories and draw reliable conclusions based on real-world data. Experiments are carried out in all fields of research.
Living objects that are made up of cells or cell products, use energy, react to changes in the environment, sustain homeostasis, and reproduce with similar offspring are all examples of life. These features decide whether or not anything is alive.

The scientific method

Using a microscope, also a basic light microscope, you will see that living matter is made up of cells. Cells are the essential building blocks of life’s structure and work. They are the tiniest units capable of carrying out life’s operations. All species are made up of one or more cells, which share many of the same structures and perform the same basic functions. Understanding the structures of cells and the processes that they carry out is important to comprehending life.
In 1665, a British scientist named Robert Hooke coined the term “cell” to describe these minuscule units of life. Hooke was one of the first scientists to use a microscope to research living organisms. Despite the fact that Hooke’s microscopes were not very strong at the time, he was still able to make a significant discovery. He was shocked to see what looked like a honeycomb when he examined a thin slice of cork under his microscope. To demonstrate what he saw, Hooke drew the figure below. As you can see, the cork was made up of several small units known as cells by Hooke.
