As a parent who is also a teacher, I was frustrated. My child did not receive the assistance or education that they had promised. The employees are still tense. I’ve seen many good employees leave due to stress or be fired due to minor issues.
Many of the people who checked this school are unaware of the current condition of the school. Things have changed dramatically over the years. I’ve never seen a behavioral school of such spoiled children as Glenhaven Academy. When a child misbehaves, there are no repercussions, and the children give the impression that they can get workers in trouble or get them shot. These spoiled brats brag about it. Right now, this software is very bad. The majority of Res counselors leave after four to five months, if not a year. These students attack staff at will, with the only result being that they are placed in one-on-one situations with them. I resigned because I couldn’t handle the mental burden and the fact that when a student misbehaves, there are almost no consequences. I have watched a student spill water on a teacher and nothing was done. Send your child to G Academy if you want them to be spoiled even more. They will assist you in this endeavor. Res Counselors may apply for positions in this program at any time because there are still openings. However, be prepared to be attacked by students. Take the role if you can handle the emotional burden because they can almost certainly give you one.

Divide the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers to get the student/teacher ratio. Please keep in mind that a lower student-to-teacher ratio does not always imply a smaller class size. Schools occasionally employ part-time teachers, and some teachers are hired for specialized teaching with limited class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio is influenced by these and other factors. Pre-Kindergarten may not be included of the student/teacher ratio in private schools.

The Glenhaven Academy, which opened in 2001, is a residential treatment center for teenage girls with emotional and behavioral problems. Females between the ages of 12 and 22 who have mental disabilities, personality problems, or a history of abuse are served at the hospital. Family, individual, and dialectical behavior therapy are all available. The Glenhaven Academy provides instruction in social and coping skills, as well as relationships with adults and peers. It also provides educational services to girls of all ages in the form of an individualized curriculum delivered in a classroom environment. In addition, the facility offers pet counseling and care for complex traumas, as well as therapeutic programs aimed at behavioral change. The Glenhaven Academy, which is based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, is part of the Justice Resource Institute, which was established in 1973 and provides human services to court-involved individuals and families.

As a former Glenhaven Academy/Lanewood grad, I can attest to the fact that this institution aided me in ways that no other institution has ever done. They provided me with music lessons, allowed me to volunteer, allowed me to enroll in classes that I was interested in and choose electives, and my clinician was exceptional at her work. I was able to apply to colleges and be prepared as a result of them, and I am now a student at a Massachusetts university studying social work. My therapist even assisted me in moving in. The thing about Glenhaven is, a lot of the kids don’t have parents, and I was one of those kids. They stepped in where my parents failed and gave help like nothing I’ve recieved before. Glenhaven is responsible for a million things in my life, but the most important is saving my life. Before I went to Glenhaven, I was planning to commit suicide, but they helped me make so much progress that the thought no longer occurs to me. They always pick up the phone and call me even though I’ve left. Staff, administrators, clinicians, and teachers all work tirelessly to ensure that this is a safe and comfortable place to call home. We may even have cats. 🙂
