How my body changed after 2 weeks of sickness

When can I resume my workout?”, these are questions that can plague someone who adheres to a strict exercise regimen. While there are no doubts about the health benefits of exercise, doing so when recovering from a serious illness can be dangerous. In most cases, having a common cold with symptoms such as a runny nose or a sore throat is not a sufficient excuse to miss exercise; rather, exercising when sick will help you recover faster. Returning to daily workout routines after a week or even a month of nasty illness, on the other hand, can be difficult. It is common knowledge that after a long illness, your cardio-respiratory health has significantly deteriorated, and all of your body energy has been depleted battling the infection, so returning to your normal routine will do more harm than good.
Wait is the answer. Wait until the symptoms are no longer present. Wait until you’ve built up sufficient courage. Wait until your body tells you it’s time. For example, if you’re recovering from a respiratory infection, wait at least two weeks after your symptoms have subsided before beginning to exercise. And if you have a fever, avoid working out. Your body temperature is already high, and exercise will increase not only your heart rate but also dehydrate you. You should also talk to your doctor about when you can start working out and how hard you should work out.
