Dr. Linqiu Zhou, an Associate Professor and Pain Physician at Professional Pain Associates in Woodbury, New Jersey, has 36 years of experience in the healthcare sector, including 6 years in his current position. Dr. Zhou graduated from Southern Medical University with an MD in Pain Control and Recovery Pain Management in 1984 and has completed medical residencies at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Tenet Healthcare’s Graduate Hospital. He also completed a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
Dr. Zhou is a specialist in diagnosing and treating chronic pain syndromes, as well as spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. Because of his unusual injection and pain procedure (such as spinal cord stimulation) abilities, Dr. Zhou was nicknamed “One shot Zhou” or “sniper” by his patients. This is due in part to his outstanding bedside manner for his patients.

Dr. Zhao grew up in Houston, Texas, and is a proud UT Austin Longhorn. She went to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston before being whisked away to the Windy City to complete her anesthesiology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Zhao returned to Dallas to be closer to her family and to pursue her long-held interest in interventional pain management. Dr. Zhao became a member of the Texas Pain Physicians after completing her fellowship. With the recent addition of her first baby boy, Hudson, she loves spending her free time with her family.

Dr. Jon Zhou is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine professional who teaches at UC Davis Medical Center’s Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
He focuses on perioperative general anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, and regional anesthesia/acute pain medication. Medical informatics, acute pain medicine, and regional anesthesia are some of Dr. Zhou’s research interests. He is dedicated to strengthening resident education and furthering UCDMC’s long-term goals. At the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Zhou received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Basis of Behavior and Anthropology. He received his medical education at Jefferson Medical College and then remained to complete his residency in anesthesiology at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then returned to UC Davis to complete his pain medicine fellowship.
