The RNeasy Mini Kit uses silica-membrane RNeasy spin columns with a binding capacity of 100 g RNA to quickly purify high-quality RNA from cells, tissues, and yeast. The Illumina MiSeq platform was used to conduct whole metagenome shotgun sequencing, and the output reads were compared to the input numbers. The QIAamp DNA Microbiome Kit was used to prepare the samples, which allowed for the most accurate relative composition.
