Dear albania full movie 2015

Eliza Dushku, an American actress of mixed Danish and Albanian descent, has been increasingly involved in and linked to the country of her father’s ancestors in recent years. Eliza and her brother Nate travel to Albania in Dear Albania, where they visit 15 different cities across the country. They learn about Albania’s current and history, as well as its aspirations for the future. The trip to their ancestral home becomes a spiritual, historical, and personal journey for the siblings. Dear Albania tells two stories: Albania’s victory over Communism and emergence as a thriving democratic state, as well as the journey of one family, the Dushkus, through centuries of tyranny, invasion, and civil strife.

Eliza Dushku is well-known for her many hit TV and film roles, but there’s a lot more to her than meets the eye. Aside from acting, the Boston native works as a producer, a college student, and an activist for a cause near and dear to her heart.
Producers spotted 10-year-old Dushku at her brother’s audition, but not in the way they expected – she tripped and fell. Following the incident, a phone call changed everything.
“My mother answered the phone the first time I was called for a screen test and said, ‘Thank you, but no thank you.’ I don’t think this is what my daughter needs to do with her life, so we’re flattered,’” Dushku recalls.
But one thing led to another, and Dushku landed her first starring role alongside Juliette Lewis and C. Thomas Howell in the film “That Night.” She went on to star alongside Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in “This Boy’s Life,” as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in “True Lies.”
