Ecu arts showcase episode 2

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the City of Santa Clarita will host the Santa Clarita Youth Arts Showcase at The Centre, in celebration of Youth Art Month. The free event helps students in the Santa Clarita Valley to show off their talents by presenting or exhibiting their artwork for the public. Local dance studios will lead participatory movement and dance workshops, student artists will showcase their street painting masterpieces, and local art studios will offer immersive art presentations, and each school district will highlight their visual and performing artists. A caricature artist will be on hand to create a cartoon representation of those who participate.
Take a stroll through the Santa Clarita Youth Art Gallery to see the incredible artwork created by the top 20 students in the Art on Canvas, Technical Art, and Photography competitions. Walk around the gallery and vote in the “People’s Pick” category for your favorite work of art.
When youth street painting teams use pastels to create masterpieces on the sidewalk at the Santa Clarita Youth Arts Exhibition, color bursts. The colorful paintings will be on show during the day. Take a moment to marvel at the creativity that exists within our youth.
