The school used to be in a building off of Lynn Commons that is now the Fecteau-Leary school. After the controversial building of a new facility, the high school was relocated to O’Callaghan Way. The new plant, which was constructed on landfill, needed extensive repairs after the base started to sink due to a lack of steel pilings. [two] [three]
The school also has a strong athletic heritage, and Harry Agganis attended before moving on to become a world-class athlete. A mural of Agganis welcomes tourists in the school’s main foyer.
