Carol Ann Susi (February 2, 1952 – November 11, 2014) was an American actress who portrayed Mrs. Debbie Wolowitz, Howard Wolowitz’s girlfriend, off-screen. She was only ever seen in brief glimpses or body parts—such as an arm or walking by the kitchen door—and was often depicted as shouting from another room or as an off-camera voice, the character being concealed behind a curtain or other object.
Mrs. Wolowitz was rumored to be completely unveiled in Season 6, and the role had been offered to Betty White; however, this was not the case, and Carol Ann Susi confirmed that Chuck Lorre had opted not to introduce Mrs. Wolowitz on-screen. After Ms. Susi’s death, it was unclear what would happen to the character for a while, though Bill Prady claimed that recasting was impossible. Chuck Lorre’s vanity card was a tribute to her after “The Septum Deviation” and the preview for “The Champagne Reflection.” “In Loving Memory of Carol Ann Susi: “Mrs. Wolowitz,” the inscription read. We laughed every time you said something. You’ll always be a part of our hearts. Mrs. Wolowitz died in her sleep while visiting relatives in Florida, according to “The Comic Book Store Regeneration,” which resolved the matter.

Chris Nunez is a Miami native who grew up in the city. He started training as a tattoo artist at the age of 18 and has been honing his skills ever since. Nunez moved to Brazil when he was 21 years old for what he thought would be a brief visit. Instead, he remained in the city for the next four years, running his own tattoo shop. He then moved to Europe for the next three years, practicing as a tattoo artist and exploring various countries and cultures. Nunez’s family, colleagues, and clients are thankful for these opportunities to develop artistically and emotionally.
Nunez decided it was time to return to the United States at that point. He traveled around the country briefly before returning to Miami, stopping at tattoo parlors along the way. His adventures eventually brought him back to Miami, where he grew up. He met up with Ami, a long-time acquaintance, there. They teamed up to open MIAMI INK, a tattoo parlor they called after themselves. A tv producer came into the shop one day looking for some new ‘body art.’ He partnered with Nunez and Ami to film a television pilot after realizing the potential for human interest.
