Calvin coolidge: never give up – zen pencils

“Persistence is the only thing that can replace it. Nothing is more popular than unsuccessful men with talent than talent. Genius would not go unrecognized; unrecognized genius is almost a proverb. Education will not help; the planet is littered with trained scumbags. Persistence and dedication are omnipotent on their own. The slogan Press On! has solved and will continue to solve the world’s problems.”

I was born in the year 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio.
This assertion was on a poster in our living room, and I memorized it when I was six years old, in 1970.
I’m happy to see that it has lasted to this day.
We worked almost 24 hours a day, seven days a week to get the company off the ground, and we intend to move it on to the next generation.
A customer came in one day to have a copy of “Press On” made. I made a copy and taped it to the wall for us. It was so motivating that it stopped me from getting discouraged. I’m not a genius or exceptionally gifted, and I lack a college degree. Yet I’m tenacious and don’t give up easily. And having a good outlook would lead to positive outcomes. I’m glad I rediscovered my motto, which I’ll print out and follow later.

I can’t award it any more stars because I have yet to receive it, despite the fact that I ordered it for a particular date before Christmas (12/11). Wall Buddy is receptive, but it ships from Ireland, and they have no control over when it arrives in the United States. When I get the piece, I’m hoping it’ll be cool.

Calvin Coolidge (/kuld/; July 4, 1872 – January 5, 1933) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the 30th President of the United States between 1923 and 1929. Coolidge was a Republican lawyer from New England who was born in Vermont and rose through the ranks of Massachusetts state politics to become governor. His response to the 1919 Boston Police Strike catapulted him into the national spotlight and established him as a man of action. He was elected as the 29th vice president of the United States the next year, and when Warren G. Harding died suddenly in 1923, he took over as president. He earned a reputation as a small-government conservative as well as a man who said nothing and had a dry sense of humour after being elected in his own right in 1924. [two] [3] After the scandals of his predecessor’s presidency, Coolidge restored public trust in the White House and left office with a high level of popularity. [number four] According to a biographer of Coolidge, “He embodied the middle class’s spirit and aspirations, was able to interpret their longings, and articulate their views. The fact that he did embody the genius of the common man is the most compelling evidence of his influence.” (5)
