Brooke High School is a public high school in Wellsburg, West Virginia, that serves students from grades 9 through 12. The Brooke County School District has just one high school. The Brooke Bruins play in the WVSSAC Class AAA and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference as the Brooke Bruins.
The school’s numerous varsity cheerleading squads have won a school-record 13 West Virginia state championships and 25 Region 1 titles.

Brooke High School, which opened in August 2016, strives to be Massachusetts’ number one open-enrollment public high school. Brooke High School will ensure that each student is prepared to succeed in college and beyond through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, a diverse offering of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and extensive college counseling resources for students and families. Brooke High School will provide students with an outstanding secondary education by continuing to concentrate on excellent teaching and ensuring that each student is challenged and known by his or her teachers.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COURSE To graduate, all Brooke High students must complete the following course requirements. 4 years of English instruction 4 years in mathematics 3 years of Spanish instruction Computer technology for three years 3 years of scientific training Social education for three years 2 years of electives in the arts 4 years of sports experience (minimum of two trimesters per year) Four years of extracurricular activities (minimum of 30 hours per year) Volunteering in the community (minimum of 40 hours) Three AP classes are required (All Brooke High students will take and pass at least three AP courses)
