By James Albert | UPDATED: July 13, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. | PUBLISHED: November 4, 2006 at 12:00 a.m. NORTH ANDOVER, MASSACHUSETTS — Rich Barry, a senior at Wilmington High, was at it again last night, guiding the Wildcats to another Cape Ann League win.
As the Wildcats recovered from a two-touchdown deficit in the first quarter to beat North Andover, 28-21, the running back rushed for 149 yards and had 203 total yards while scoring three touchdowns.
While Barry was excellent on offense, with 44 seconds left in the game, he intercepted a North Andover pass at the Wildcat 12 yard line, putting an end to a Scarlet Knights 12-play drive that began at their own 43.
North Andover scored on its first two runs, with fullback Matt Burckhardt scoring on a 15-yard run and Andrew Foote scoring on a 20-yard run with 4:53 remaining in the first quarter, giving North Andover a 14-0 lead.
Wilmington’s offense struggled early on, as the team used two quarterbacks for the first time this season. After missing the previous few games due to a knee injury, junior Kyle Moon returned, and he and sophomore Steve Stewart split the snaps, completing 9-of-17 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

According to Harris, music aids our brain’s capacity to repair itself, a process known as neuroplasticity. “Music may actually help reinforce our brain connections and create new connections around areas where there might be damage.”
“When we passively listen to music, the centers responsible for expression, language, emotion, and cognition are all stimulated, and we know there is no other stimulus on earth that has such global activation as music,” Harris says.

Therapists play music that patients like, but they must adhere to such guidelines. Caitlin Hyatt, for example, sings popular songs to Andrew in a slower rhythm to help him develop his speech fluency and articulation.

A green circle () indicates that the player has been selected to play in the tournament; a yellow circle () indicates that the player is an alternate into the tournament; a dark grey circle () indicates that the player did not qualify for the tournament; and a red circle () indicates that the applicant has withdrawn from the tournament. The tournament director’s “Competitor List” and alternate report, if available, are always more reliable than the automatically selected players and alternates. This list is only relevant at the time the selection was made. If the player was chosen from a different list than the one currently shown, the name of the list from which the player was chosen would appear after the player’s name–address.
