The Adams Avenue Street Fair has showcased the best in local, regional, national, and international artists for the past 34 years, with many of them being Grammy Award nominees and winners, as well as Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees. No Doubt, Wanda Jackson, The Blasters, Lila Downs, Pops Staples, Mick Taylor, Nortec Collective, Andy Summers, Floyd Dixon, Jack Tempchin, and Mike Watt are among the artists on the list.
There will be three beer gardens, giant carnival rides, and more than 300 exhibitors selling their products around the festival site, in addition to the fantastic music. The Adams Avenue Street Fair Craft Beer Taste (Saturday only from 12-noon to 4:00 pm) will be held, as well as the Adams Avenue Street Fair Craft Beer Taste (Saturday only from 12-noon to 4:00 pm).
For just $20, visitors to the Craft Beer Taste will be able to try 12 4-ounce samples.
Aztec Brewing Co., Automatic Brewing Co., Ballast Point, BNS, Stone, Stumble Foot, Goose Island, Green Flash, Twisted Manzanita, and Mission Brewery were among the 30 styles of craft beers featured last year from 16 breweries during the tasting. Throughout the street fair’s two-day run, four additional beer gardens will be available, offering full pours of San Diego’s finest craft beer range. This year’s street fair will feature vendors with exclusive offers who will be set up side by side in the venue.

The 37th annual Adams Avenue Street Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019. Beer gardens and beer tastings, huge carnival swings, festival foods, and more than 300 arts and crafts booths are all part of the celebration.
The Street Fair’s Craft Beer Taste (on Saturday only, from noon to 4:00 p.m.) will be enjoyed by beer connoisseurs across from the Starbucks Stage. The street fair is only a 10-minute ride from your plush room at Pacific Beach’s Ocean Park Inn, which is located in the Normal Heights business district. The Adams Avenue Street Fair is a lively, enjoyable, and best of all, FREE event for people of all ages. The festival will shut down 10 blocks of Adams Avenue in order to accommodate 350 arts and crafts, retail, and food booths. While the kids are having fun on the huge carnival rides, parents can relax in the Beer Gardens! This festival in San Diego has something for everyone.
During the fair, there are seven stages with over 90 musical acts, in addition to the fantastic shopping, eating, drinking, and playing opportunities. Rock, Americana, Jazz, Punk, Indie, R&B, and Blues will be among the genres covered over the weekend. It’s a great way to check out new genres and see if you’ve been missing out on a secret gem or awesome local band. Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Paladins, Mojo Nixon, and Skid Roper will appeal to rock music fans. If you’re in the mood for some blues, guitarists Coco Montoya and Junior Watson will do the trick. There will also be a performance by the 13-piece Piena Libre ensemble from Puerto Rico, ensuring that no musical taste is left unsatisfied!
