Established in 1961, Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) provides educational programs and services to residents of Cape Cod, the Canal Region, the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, and the Greater Plymouth Area. 4Cs is Cape Cod’s only comprehensive college, offering associate’s degrees, associate’s degrees in science, associate’s degrees in applied science, and academic credential programs in a range of fields.
Adult educational assistance, Workforce courses, and college credit classes are available at the Hyannis Center of 4Cs. The Aviation Maintenance Technology program at Plymouth Municipal Airport educates and trains individuals to repair aircraft airframes and power plants, training students for FAA certification and/or further academic research. Digital technology allows college courses to be “beamed” directly into participating high schools from a number of off-campus locations, including Martha’s Vineyard.
Through its collaborations with colleges and universities across Massachusetts, the College also provides bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. To meet the needs of our students, courses are delivered in a number of delivery formats, including day, evening, and weekend classes, face-to-face, and completely online, or a combination of those systems, and in conventional semesters, Intersessions, and shorter Quick Term sessions.
