A matter of faith (movie trailer 2)
If you missed it on the big screen, now is your chance to see it on DVD! Rachel Whitaker, a Christian, is excited to begin her freshman year of college. New friends put her in circumstances where she has to make fast and critical decisions—some about her social life, others about her core beliefs!
Rachel Whitaker was raised by her sincere Christian parents as a “healthy Christian child.” However, when the teen begins her freshman year of college, she is easily affected by the school’s renowned biology professor. The charming middle-aged atheist deftly dismisses everyone who believes the Bible and demonstrates that evolution is the only explanation for how life started.
Rachel’s father discovers a difference in his daughter at home and starts to investigate the situation. He is absolutely taken aback by what he finds. He is now profoundly worried that Rachel is straying from her Christian faith, and he is prayingfully attempting to interfere. The end result is a strong reminder that God is in full charge.
A Matter of Faith is a film with a message that is both timely and urgently needed in today’s America. AiG does not support many films, even those that are ostensibly “Christian” in nature. We wholeheartedly endorse A Matter of Faith, which defends the Bible’s authority starting with Genesis.

He is now very worried about his daughter’s drifting away from the religion, and he attempts to intervene.
Many years ago, Dr. Sigmund Freud beautifully observed that man is fraught with deep rooted fears because he lives in a world of disease, famine, and tragedy with little influence over his circumstances. He did, after all, make…

Rachel Whitaker was brought up in a Christian home by her caring parents (her father is a minister). However, after she starts her freshman year of college, she is inspired by her biology professor, Dr. Kaman, who is well-liked by the students due to his charm and light-hearted approach. He claims that complex life forms arose from simpler life forms, and that the Biblical origin hypothesis isn’t a viable option. Stephen, Rachel’s father, is concerned about his daughter’s changing personality and beliefs. He challenges the arrogant professor and finds himself in a debate, much to his daughter’s humiliation. As he prepares, a compassionate student approaches him and advises him to visit a former professor named Portland, who was fired years ago at Kaman’s request for teaching Biblical theory to his students. Attempts to “get him back in the game” are initially rejected by Portland. When Portland returns and addresses his old nemesis at the film’s conclusion, Kaman appears to be swaying the crowd on the night of the debate.
