Submitted by: This gem of a cookbook (if we can call it that) I discovered at a library booksale. Many of the recipes use canned goods; one of my favorites is a mushroom meatloaf, which can be found in the “Vegetables” section. There is also a whole section dedicated to SpaghettiOs recipes.
Holly: I’m Holly, and I’m My husband is one of the most talented cooks I’ve ever met. He’d vomit just thinking about this novel. It’s cute and catchy, with titles like “A Guy, A Can, A Tailgate Plan” and “…:A Second Helping,” but it’s a fast weeder if you’re short on room. I probably would not have bought this book in the first place. It has a decent idea for a public library collection, but it’s just too gimmicky and sexist to justify spending real money on it. I can’t believe Men’s Health edited this and branded it with their name! It doesn’t seem to be really safe…
